Wołanie z wnętrza Ziemi – exhibition monument of Augustów roundup
Exhibition monument of the event which took place in July 1945. Red Army with NKVD, WP ad UB run bloody operation to abolish underground conspiration in Suwałki and Augustów. The exhibition presents a human face full of pain facing the sky. We can see gunshot wounds on it, along with bandages on its forehead. There are hands growing directly from the ground next to the face, they are situated upwardly, begging for help.
